  • A peer community of learning and practice that addresses trauma and underlying impulses for substance misuse.
  • Professional guidance in accessing services such as medical care, counseling, GED and career classes, and meaningful employment.
  • LIFE-LONG TOOLS FOR SUCCESS

Who Benefits from Supportive Recovery Housing?

Supportive recovery housing can positively impact communities by reducing these alarming statistics and by reducing health care and incarceration costs in Wisconsin. We believe that long-term recovery Is enhanced by or through long-term treatment.

Supportive recovery housing is appropriate for those individuals who are:

  • Completing rehabilitation program(s) and in need of ongoing support to build and sustain long-term recovery.
  • Living unsheltered and in need of recovery housing in order to engage in recovery.
  • Re-entering the community from the criminal justice system.
  • Participating in drug courts.
  • Diverting from the criminal justice system for SUD treatment and related support services.

The Supportive Recovery Housing Model meets National Alliance of Recovery Residences as well as Wisconsin Association of Sober Housing standards and provides long term recovery support through peer mentors, recovery educational programming, and participation in 12 step programs.
